“The Little Peninsula” is set in 17th century America, what is known today as Bayonne, New Jersey.
For fifteen thousand years before the explorers and pirates embark on the land, Indians have lived on this peninsula harmoniously with nature, taking from the land only what is needed. Land ownership is unknown to them.
For much of the time, “The Little Peninsula” and her inhabitants coexist with only minor problems and oftentimes humorous events … that is until the “aliens” arrive. Then all havoc breaks loose. Big Owl, Old Woody, The Admiral Sea Gull, The General Pigeon, and many more of their friends have to come up with methods to deter capture and takeover of their beloved Peninsula.
This is a story of historical imagination for young adults twelve to ninety and beyond.
